PicsaStock releases iPhone App

PicsaStock (former Instastock), winner of Techcrunch’s “Tech Innovation Award” has created an IOS app that allows users to sell their photos on the global market. Customers will be able to buy images immediately after the photographers have uploaded them. Photos can be uploaded directly from a smartphone or Instagram account. For each image sold, the photographer recieves 50 percent commission. The app also includes features that help improve daily sales and promote users’ photo galleries.

Customers will find the perfect photo within seconds by using the innovative color and similarity search. They will also be able to browse the newest photos on the home page. Every image can be sold multiple times and the cost of the images ranges from $0.20 to $69.00.

“There are millions of people that take amazing photos and we want to provide them with an opportunity to sell their photos” says André Lutter, CEO of PicsaStock.

PicsaStock is now available at the App Store.
