The more photographers participate with their anonymous data, the more complete and comprehensive the results will be. And so it's very important that you take part in the survey, regardless of how much you sell, how big your portfolio is, or how much time and resources you commit to your microstock business.

The last survey for 2015/2016 was launched last May, and its final results and conclusions will be published this February.

    Independent Microstock Survey 2016

The survey for 2016 microstock performance is open, and you can take part in it here. It will only take you 5-10 minutes to complete it, and all the info you submit is completely anonymous.

All contributors selling media in the microstock industry are invited and encouraged to participate, regardless of their sales volume or portfolio size. From beginners with only a handful of images online to professionals with tens of thousands of photos in their accounts, all are welcome, and your participation will be valuable, even if you cannot answer one or more of the questions included.

The more participant submit their stats for the past year, the better the results will be, as this will allow to get a complete picture of what the market was like last year and where it is going for 2017, helping you design your business strategy accordingly.

If you are a photographer selling images on microstock agencies, take the survey now!

    MicroStockGroup's 9th Annual Survey

MicroStockGroup is a very useful website for microstock contributors, including a forum and a blog to keep up to date with the latest moves and developments in the industry.

They have conducted an annual survey on microstock performance for 9 years now, and their results have proven to be a great aid in planning your production and distribution of images in the stock photo market.

The results of the latest 2015-2016 survey will be published in MicroStockGroup's blog this February, and you can also check the results for 2014 and previous years here.

Don't forget to take part in 2016 Contributor Survey, it takes less than 10 minutes, and the entire microstocker community, you included, will benefit from it.
