    Japanese Leading Stock Photo Agency Aims to Become “No.1 Asian Creative Platform”
    Creating Oppotunites to Easily Access and Use High Quality Local Images

    TOKYO – July 18, 2013 – Pixta Inc, operator of Japanese online marketplace of stock photos, illustrations, vectors and videos announced today launch of site in English ( http://www.pixtastock.com/ ), aiming to become “No.1 Asian Creative Platform”.

    “We have been growing as a major part of Japanese stock image market. Producing localized images based on deep research is one of our key success factors. Now as an Asia originated company, we’ll try to provide much more Asian local images with accurate and careful research,” said Founder and CEO Daisuke Komata. “We believe that we can create a lot of opportunities for asian creative industry to easily access and use high quality images by penetrating into this big market.”

    PIXTA is Japanese leading marketplace of high quality stock photos, illustrations, vectors and videos.
    Launched in 2006 as an online “Creative Platform”, PIXTA now makes the Japanese largest stock photo site with more than 5 million images, 120,000 of contributors and 120,000 of customers.
