    picWorkflow

A new microstock service was just launched today by the ardent mind of Robert Davies, the picNiche‘s man:  picWorkflow – Online Stock Photo Workflow and Analysys. Read the full post… you will find a contest to earn some free credit packages in a funny way 🙂

picWorkflow provides image-management and distribution services for stock photographers. The goal is to do everything possible to help your photography business run smoothly and efficiently.

Upload your images, easily set and change their metadata, quickly add relevant keywords and sort them into groups for easier management. Distribute them safely to any pre-supported service (24 microstock photography and stock footage agencies supported so far) or add your own custom destinations, then track their status so you'll always know who is storing, using, or selling your work for you.

The ‘Mission' of picWorkflow is to provide a high level of service for photographers, achieving these goals:
    • To make managing your portfolio, big or small, as simple as possible
    • To do whatever possible to increase your sales and market-relevance
    • To provide safe and secure storage for your images and their related data
    • To help make running a photography business on any scale easier than ever before

picWorkflow is a pay-as-you go service, there are no subscriptions, no contract tie-ins, no minimum or maximum usage. As a cloud-based service you can manage, store, process and distribute as many or as few images as you need for picWorkflow to help you and your business become a long-term, sustainable and rewarding success.

Distribution starts at 1c per upload and optional storage from 1c per image for 3 months of storage including vector, raw and any other paired files. The status of every file is trackable and helps you make the most of both your existing portfolio and your newest images. A nice Credit-Exchange system lets you to earn credits by helping to improve or promote the service, writing blog posts or articles, by making images, offering translation, or anything else you think the site really needs which you can easily do.

    picWorkflow Free Credits Contest

Compose a song or poem or a deep 😉 thought about the joys/pains of being a microstock contributor and add it as a comment to this post. Mr. Davies will put up 1000 picWorkflow credits for the best one and 2 more 500 credit packages for 2nd/3rd notable mentions, all chosen with unappealable verdict by the two Roberts. The contest is opened both for new and existing picWorkflow accounts and the winners will also have their entries posted to the picNiche blog along with their name and link. The contest will end on December 9th.

      deep thought?
hmm… for me microstock changed my life completely: I quited my office job and became stock photographer 🙂

The picWorkflow reminds me of old good iSyndica (RIP)… I was using it, so I hope new one will be good, and I will definitely give it a try. Especially with 500 or 1000 credits package.
