On 16 May – 18th May, 2012, the Coordination of European Picture Agencies Stock, Press and Heritage (CEPIC) will present its annual international conference at London’s Old Truman Brewery.

The global picture industry will gather in London to network and discuss the evolution of the visual communication industry. Each day will start with a visionary key note speaker addressing the world in which picture people work today.

The congress opens on Wednesday 16th May with a keynote presentation by award-winning photojournalist, Jonathan Torgovnik, author of Bollywood Dreams and Intended Consequences, whose provocative work provides an inspiring reminder of the powerful role photography plays in an increasingly visual world.

On Thursday 17th May, Dittmar Frohmann, Director of International Product at iStock and Getty Images will give a keynote presentation on the opportunities for content creators in the mobile space.

And finally, on Friday 18th May, Dave Coplin, Director of Search for Microsoft UK’s Advertising and Online business, will focus the spotlight on the power and potential of search and the way it holds the key to society’s effective use of all that technology and the internet has to offer. As an established thought leader in the UK and having spent a considerable amount of time in the Public Sector providing leadership and guidance around key technology policy issues like Cloud Computing, Open Government, Big Data and the “consumerisation” of technology.
