Dreamstime is going to launch posters and canvases printed products.

“Order a Print: Posters and Canvases”

“Very soon you'll be able to order posters and canvases from our site. This is self-explanatory so I will skip the basics. You all have such prints somewhere decorating your home or office walls.

All RF images are eligible for this option (Editorial and Free Photos are excluded). Plus, ordering is fast and easy to use. Similar to image download, prints can be purchased in a matter of seconds.

Thanks to our pricing model and a very simple formula, prices are kept minimal: production costs + RF pricing (maximum size, credits only, levels apply). Contributor royalties & agency share calculation is based on the same formula used for regular downloads. This allows us to provide the lowest prices for this type of products. In return, we expect to generate a significant vertical instantly.

As the service is directed towards the consumer, what we did was to enable them to print the images directly from our site, instead of having to go to a different provider. A single copy will be ordered and our terms will prohibit the reselling of these items (this avoids conflicts with our EL licensing).

There is no opt-out from this program as the usage fits our regular terms. Should such need arise for any of you, it can be added via our Alliances and Partnerships section.

This new option aims to attract new customers to our site (we have a fabulous collection that can compete with any top site selling prints) and at the same time, to help customers already using our images for this purpose.

While we're currently beta testing the feature soon to go live, your feedback is welcome.

    We print!”
