Stock photo earnings comparison June 09
I publish the partial results of June, I will update the post at the beginning of July.
Final results of June 2009.
I’m glad to add the new iStockphoto column with the first full month data. A very small portfolio (average number of images < 30) but with a good return.
I’ve also added a new column, revenue per download = “earnings in $” / “number of downloads”
- Shutterstock up due to some freshen uploads.
- First photos sold at iStockphoto with high return per image and revenue per download
- First 2 photos sold at Snapixel. One is a “big” 150 credits (90 €, not in table and graph) Extended License – Electronic Items for Resale (unlimited run)!

June is also worse than may for me…but now in the end of the month I've made some new images that are really selling big and maybe I'll be able to recover and have a better month than may.
Congratulations on iStock!! I've tried 4 times, but still nothing…
Good Luck!
Augusto
Thanks. iStock, you'll be there soon… faster than me: It took me 3 years
I'll try istock again in 30 days…
Hope you'll post your june earnings completely soon… Mine is online and I've post a link to your site too
Cheers!!
3 years? omg why is that? i really don't understand their policy, fortunately i enter on the first time, but having photos approved is quite hard, i am now on 50%..

I don't know how long will it take to have so good results…
Cheers! Cristina
Ciao Cristina,
it depends on the time you could spend to learn, create, have ideas, shoot, upload… I'm an hobbyist photographer but I hope to improve my position. Good luck with your bright new D60!
Ciao Roberto,
at the moment, I have a lot of time… and I spend it all on this!!!
Good luck to you too!
