Credit royalties will decrease, soon to be level-based while we have planned two other significant adjustments:
- The royalties awarded via the subscription plans will be increased for superior level files
- The SR-EL recommended prices will be decreased (custom levels will stay the same).
Subscriptions of 3-5th level files will now count as multiple downloads. Cost-savvy buyers will focus more the 1st level images, but popular images will still be accessible to them.
The royalties for the SR-EL license stay at the same level, 50-60% for all contributors. The custom price set by photographer will also remain the same with a maximum of $10,000. The recommended prices will change as above.
The royalty update will be done gradually over the next few months, trying to ensure a good revenue for as many contributors as possible. We expect most of you to continue to experience BMEs. The subscriptions increase and SR-EL update will be launched live in just a few days.
I urge all contributors to strive generating high level files by submitting only the best shots from a single session. While we remain the best paying agency in royalties, being self-selective and shooting better will generate more sales for you at higher royalties values.
As ever before, we will be looking for contributors+buyers’ feedback in the months to come.
We hope you’ll find these changes fair and wish you all a fantastic fall!

I don't see a relevant difference on royalties, do you?
cheers
They are going to favor the exclusive photographers and the photos with higher saleability. I think it's a trend.
Thanks Luis,
