Level 1: 0-4 downloads –> 0-4 downloads
Level 2: 5-19 downloads –> 5-9 downloads
Level 3: 20-49 downloads –> 10-24 downloads
Level 4: 50-99 downloads –> 25-49 downloads
Level 5: over 100 downloads –> more than 50
Dreamstime is going to remove the prints program (posters and canvases) because customers experienced significant inconveniences and shipping delays.

The logistical hassle and dependence on third party services made us reconsider the future of this program. It is also the reason why you didn’t see too many updates. This program wasn’t able to take off properly.
It’s the first time we had to remove a product since our inception, 5 years ago. No matter how difficult is to withdraw features that required a lot of work, I consider such move wiser than supporting a program that proved neither able to compete with our core model nor able to help it grow. New programs need to be disruptive in order to compete with core models.
Furthermore, our customers experienced significant inconveniences and shipping delays. None of them were Dreamstime’s fault, but these flaws jeopardized our image in front of customers. All these correlated with the logistical hassle and synchronization burden made it obvious that we need to remove the program as it doesn’t meet our standards.
We will discontinue the product starting Dec. 15th. If you want to order, you can still do it until this date, but take into account that the items might not arrive until Christmas.
Thank you for your understanding. ![]()

Dreamstime is going to launch posters and canvases printed products.
“Very soon you’ll be able to order posters and canvases from our site. This is self-explanatory so I will skip the basics. You all have such prints somewhere decorating your home or office walls.
All RF images are eligible for this option (Editorial and Free Photos are excluded). Plus, ordering is fast and easy to use. Similar to image download, prints can be purchased in a matter of seconds.
Thanks to our pricing model and a very simple formula, prices are kept minimal: production costs + RF pricing (maximum size, credits only, levels apply). Contributor royalties & agency share calculation is based on the same formula used for regular downloads. This allows us to provide the lowest prices for this type of products. In return, we expect to generate a significant vertical instantly. Continue Reading
Credit royalties will decrease, soon to be level-based while we have planned two other significant adjustments:
- The royalties awarded via the subscription plans will be increased for superior level files
- The SR-EL recommended prices will be decreased (custom levels will stay the same).
