A digression in the Right Managed photo world to present ALLTO1, a small-scale agency based in Estonia with the intention of being able to react promptly to customers’ requests with the flexibility and individuality of their  services.  Images are monitored for high quality and suitable content. No Royalty-Free or microstock photo business is utilized. ALLTO1′s motto: We believe in good photography!

I’ve asked Janne Henrik Komulainen, ALLTO1′s CEO & Founder, to talk about the agency. Thanks for the collaboration.

We like to profile, what some people like to call ‘Boutique Agency’ with small amount of photographers. We are looking for ACTIVE photographers who could strongly committed for us. At this moment we have 73.000+ photos online and we are targeted more and more for real professional photographers. We offers the service you need to see clearly what your customers want and need. We are strongly committed to make growing European wide distribution and marketing channels. We are committed to great work and believe in win-win. Our photographers receive 70% of net sales on picture sales. Any income generated belongs to its members: we have no outside shareholders.

ALLTO1 have a lot of plans, but as you know we are quite small company, how to say, more like a family company and our target is not to become worldwide player for stock photo industry.
There are lot of feature and functionalities on our road-map, it just take time to find out right balance what is possible to implement and what’s the right time to make some bigger changes.
I’m researching quite much right now about all social media things, how to find out some business benefit from LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. They are all great tool but I feel that still it’s not yet clear what could be the business values.
In near future we are integrating ClickandBuy payment solution which will offer lot of different payment options. And also by end of this year we’ll integrate PLUS licensing module. And same time supporting IPTC metadata. Perhaps these are the main activities for developing our service.
And in next year we like to support also different language versions for example Italy will be one option plus many major languages like German, Spain, France, Portuguese. (perhaps Russian as well.)
So, some of our plans… we like to find out our own niche market segments and be an alternative agency.
